Students of «Translation Studies» specialty are the winners of the International Recitation Contest

 

Samara State Social and Pedagogical University (SSPSU, Russia) announces annual International Distance Recitation Contest «Russian Word». The aim is to unleash the creative potential of students, promote and support the study of Russian language and culture.

 

This year`s contest (August 20-December 23, 2021) brought the total number of participants to 243. These are reciters-declamators from far-abroad countries (Great Britain, France, Poland, China), as well as from near-abroad countries, including Kazakhstan.

 

There is a good tradition of our youth taking part in this contest. Students of specialty «Translation studies» of Institute of philology and multilingual education Kukanova Esmira and Kamalova Aigul (1st course, supervisor Dr. Jumabekova A.K.) took first place, they were awarded with diplomas of the 1st degree in the nomination «The most technical reciter». Student of the 3rd course Bimyrzaev Asylzhan (teacher is responsible teacher Ibragimova K.K.) was also awarded by the Diploma of the 1st degree, but already in the nomination «The most original reciter». Children were presented the video clips with the recitation of works of the famous Russian writer and teacher Konstantin Paustovsky accompanied by music, which are posted on the video-hosting site YouTube.

 

The award ceremony was held at the SSSPU on December 23, 2021 in offline and online modes. A.K. Zhumabekova addressed to participants of competition and conveyed congratulations from staff of our university.
