Master class "Translation quality assessment"

On January 17, 2025, in accordance with the calendar plan of the scientific project AP19680449 "Translation quality assessment: scientific and educational spheres", its performers, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Faculty of Philology of Abai KazNPU Zhumabekova Aigul (supervisor), PhD Kurkimbayeva Aizhan (SR) held a master class at the University "Turan" (Almaty).

During the master class, an algorithm for assessing the quality of translation of scientific and educational texts based on the Kazakh, English and Russian languages was presented; individual recommendations were voiced; answers to questions from participants were given.

The listeners of the master class were teachers of the Higher School of Media and Intercultural Communication of the University "Turan" under the guidance of Director A. Buzelo.
