Opening of the Branch of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation

On March 14, 2025, a branch of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation at the Faculty of Philology of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was opened at Elit School gymnasium. This initiative aims to foster cooperation in education, scientific methodology, and practical activities.

The event was attended by the director of Elit School gymnasium, Zh. Seisembayeva, along with school teachers and students, the head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, K. Duisenova, PhD, Professor K. Abdrakhmanova, PhD, senior lecturer E. Kanseitova, and senior lecturer D. Ashimova.

The primary objective of the branch is to provide methodological and pedagogical support by organizing and facilitating seminars and roundtable discussions on linguistic methodology and current issues in Eastern and Western languages. Additionally, it is planned to conduct annual pedagogical internships for Abai KazNPU students in language subjects at this school.
