A celebration of prosperity and unity

On 17 March 2025, the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of our university held an event `Celebration of Wellbeing and Unity` for the listeners of `Silver University`.

This wonderful holiday was timed to coincide with the celebration of Nauryz, specifically Shanyrak Day on 17 March, as well as the holy month of Ramadan. The programme of the event included slides about Nauryz and Ramadan, songs in Kazakh and Arabic performed by 4th year students, as well as quizzes, which delighted the elderly listeners and they expressed their gratitude. The event was attended by the head of the department K.T. Duisenova, who expressed good wishes on behalf of the management. At the end of the event, an iftar was organised at the department with the support of listeners and students.

We believe that good deeds will continue throughout the month of Nauryz.
