Online seminar `Problem of Turkology: Uyghur Language Studies Abroad`

On 22 March 2025, students of the specialty `6В01707 - Uyghur Language and Literature-English` of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation, Abai KazNPU held an online seminar on `The Problem of Turkology: the study of the Uyghur language abroad` with famous foreign scholars PhD, Prof. Gulnar Aziz Yulgun (Harvard University, USA, PhD Magpirat Kamal (Baykent University, Turkey, and PhD Ablyat Samat (Һettingen, Turkey). Gulnar Aziz Yulgun (Harvard University, USA), PhD Magpirat Kamal (Baykent University, Turkey) and PhD Ablyat Samat (Һettingen University, Germany).

The organisers of this seminar were the teachers of the department, Candidate of Physical Sciences, Associate Professor Arziev R. U. and Candidate of Physical Sciences, Senior Teacher Masimova H. U. and Candidate of Philosophy, Senior Lecturer Masimova H. В. Uyghur scientists and teachers of the school took part in the seminar as guests.

During the seminar, the scientists spoke in detail about the ongoing research on the problems of Turkology on Uyghur studies in the USA, Turkey, Germany.
