Spring Festival at Abai University

On April 21, 2025, the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai hosted a spring festival for students studying the Korean language. The students prepared a vibrant and rich concert program that reflected the harmony between Kazakh and Korean cultures: the sound of the dombra, elegant hanboks and fans, songs in Kazakh and Korean, guitar performances, and K-Pop dances all delighted the audience.

The audience actively participated in the event and received gifts as a token of appreciation for their support. Additionally, a lottery was held among the participants. All attendees received certificates, and the four best teams were awarded cash prizes.

The festival was organized by Korean language instructors - Natalia Nam, Elena Burmistrova, and Maksat Kultasov - with financial support from the Education Center at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstan, as well as support from the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Alua Tanzharykova, and the Head of the Department of Eastern Philology and Translation, Karakat Duisenova.
