The connection between the school and the university has been strengthened

On April 24, 2025, the Faculty of Philology of Abai KazNPU, specifically the Department of Eastern Philology and Translation, visited the state-owned institution "I. Iskaderov Secondary School" in the Uyghur district of Almaty region as part of a business trip.

Two months ago, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Abai KazNPU and the mentioned school. Based on the memorandum, in accordance with the plan, a branch of the Department of Eastern Philology and Translation was opened at the school. The event was remembered as a working meeting related to training future specialists, in line with the requirements of the current education system, fostering mutual cooperation, and meeting the modern demands placed on professionals.

During the event, a methodological seminar was held for the schoolteachers, and career guidance work was conducted for the 11th-grade students. The event was organized by Acting Head of the Department, Karakat Duysenova, PhD, Associate Professor Ruslan Arziev, PhD, Senior Lecturer Eleonora Kanseytova, and PhD, Senior Lecturer Khalminam Masimova.

The planned events were held at a high level.

The goals of the event were to strengthen the relationship between the university and schools, provide pedagogical-methodological support to schoolteachers, and offer career guidance to graduates.
