«Methodological seminar «English Without Borders: Communicative Strategies in the Training of Future Educators»

On March 6, 2025, as part of the implementation of a memorandum of cooperation, the Department of Primary Education at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted a methodological seminar. The event was organized by Senior Lecturer of the Department, Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Dinara Naimanova.

The seminar was designed for students enrolled in the educational program «6B01304 - Primary Education with Multilingualism», which aims to train highly qualified educators proficient in multiple languages and capable of effectively applying integrative teaching methodologies.

The keynote speaker of the seminar was Gulnar Bekzhanova-a distinguished expert in English language teaching, a lecturer at universities in Almaty, a teacher development trainer, and a developer of educational materials and curricula for the International Educational Holding Study Inn.

The seminar focused on the concepts of «Communicative Function» and «Communicative Purpose». The presented materials were of high methodological value, contributing to a deeper understanding of the communicative aspects of English language teaching. The students demonstrated active engagement, reflecting their keen interest in contemporary educational approaches.
