The results of the V Republican children`s competition of local history mathematical problems for younger schoolchildren have been summed up

The Department of Primary Education has been holding a competition for primary school students for the fifth year in a row. This competition accepts plot mathematical problems that correspond to the curriculum of the primary school mathematics course and contain local history material covering various aspects of the life of the native land.

The competition was held remotely in four age groups (students of grades 1-4) in Russian, English and Kazakh. 85 participants were accepted to participate in the competition. Of these, 66 represented the city of Almaty, the rest of the participants were from other cities and regions of Kazakhstan. The works of pupils from the Moscow region were also submitted.

The participants competed in seven categories: "The history of my region", "Architecture of my native land", "Geography of my region", "Sports successes of my city", "Cultural life of my city", "Outstanding personalities of my small homeland", "The feat of my people during the Great Patriotic War". The largest number of works were presented in the nomination "Geography of my region".

The jury of the competition included experts in the field of primary education. The jury team is represented by 10 participants who are experienced teachers. The jury team included: Lebedeva L. A. - Ph. D., professor of the Department of primary education of Abai University; Ageeva L. E. - Ph. D., associate professor of the Department of preschool and primary education of Kazakh National Women`s Pedagogical University; Agranovich E. N. - PhD, associate professor of the Department of preschool and primary education of Kazakh National Women`s Pedagogical University; Ryabova E. V. - master of pedagogy, senior lecturer of the Department of primary education of Abai University; Skrepchuk L. T. - primary school teacher of School No. 130 in Almaty; Astambayeva zh.K. - PhD, senior lecturer of the Department of primary education of Abai University; Dzhankenova A. K.-primary school teacher, teacher - researcher of the municipal state institution "secondary school named after Kapal Batyr, Bekbolat village, Karasay district, Almaty region; Raisova S. R. - primary school teacher of gymnasium No. 15 in Almaty; Obulgazieva Z. A. - primary school teacher of gymnasium No. 15 in Almaty; Estemes K. A.-primary school teacher of School No. 144 in Almaty, master of pedagogy.

The Organising Committee of the competition consisted of 4 members: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Primary Education Akpaeva Asel and 1st year students Skrepchuk Olga, Bekzhanova Aizhan, Limanskaya Daria.

The jury team and the organizing committee of the competition are professional experts and specialists in the field of primary education, the competition was held at a high organizational and methodological level.
