"Innovation in action: modern approaches to teaching primary school students"

On March 28, 2025, Sholpan Kalbergenov, senior lecturer at the Department of Primary Education of Abai KazNPU, held an open lecture for 2nd year students of the educational program "6b01306 - primary education in English" on the subject of pedagogical research in primary education on the topic "Innovative approaches to teaching in primary schools."

The purpose of the lesson is to introduce students to modern teaching methods and technologies, to consider their features and impact on the development of younger schoolchildren, as well as to form skills for introducing innovative approaches into the educational process.

During the lecture, such relevant techniques as game technology, project-based learning, blended learning, and digital tools for elementary schools were discussed. Students actively participated in discussions, analyzed examples from teaching practice and had the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of various innovative methods.
