Master Class “A Step into the Future: Modern Technologies in Digital Literacy and Intellectual Development in Primary Education”

On April 8, 2025, as part of the Science Decade, a master class titled "A Step into the Future: Modern technologies in digital literacy and intellectual development in primary education" was held at Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai. The event was conducted by Dr. Amina Slamkhanovna Amirova, professor of the department of "Primary Education", faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology.

The main objective of the master class was to introduce participants to the theoretical foundations and effective ways of applying modern technologies to ensure digital literacy and support the intellectual development of primary school students.

During the session, the use of Smart technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), STEAM education, virtual reality (VR), and various EdTech platforms in the context of primary education was thoroughly explored. Participants engaged in comprehensive discussions on how successful integration of digital tools can enhance education quality, foster personal development, and shape meaningful learning trajectories for students.

The event gathered active participation from master`s and doctoral students of KazNPU named after Abai, university lecturers and students from various regions of Kazakhstan, as well as primary school teachers. Attendees highly appreciated the high level of organization and expressed their gratitude for the insightful and informative content of the master class.
