First-year students of Abai KazNPU completed industrial training and school practice as part of dual education

During the 2024-2025 academic year, first-year students of the program "6B01302 - Primary Education with Business Innovations" at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University successfully completed their industrial training and educational school practice at the partner institution EPG Prometheus School.

The university practice supervisors were Professors Larisa Lebedeva and Assel Akpayeva, from the Department of Primary Education. From the school side, academic directors G.I. Usmanzhanova, and E.V. Cherkasskaya coordinated the dual training.

Students participated once a week in industrial training, totaling 140 hours, and completed a 2-week practice (50 hours). The goal was to develop pedagogical awareness, motivation, and professional skills by engaging in observation, school activities, class visits, extracurricular work, and portfolio creation.

Final student presentations were heard on May 5, 2025, at the school. The assessment confirmed students` progress and professional readiness. The dual education model will continue in the following years of study.
