Open practical (seminar) lesson "Event volunteering"
On March 28, 2025 at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of KazNPU named after Abaya, in accordance with the curriculum and schedule of the educational program "6B01801 - Social Pedagogy", Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Shirinbayeva Gulbakhira held an open seminar for 2nd-year students on the topic "Event volunteering" on the academic subject "Fundamentals of volunteer work".
The purpose of the seminar was realized through the use of the idea of the Blooms Taxonomy methodology at the level of knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation of educational material. Event volunteering is a collective activity at mega-event events, involving the work of a volunteer team led by a team leader. Event volunteering is primarily about serving the state. In this regard, the theoretical coverage of the new topic was revealed in the form of a heuristic conversation with the screening of a video about event volunteering, where the topical issue was discussed "The importance of event volunteering in serving the state", "The role of a team leader in event volunteering". The practical form of the seminar was organized as part of a handout on Bloom`s taxonomy using resources: working with information sources; solving practical problems, analyzing cases, real situations, and group discussions in a creative microgroup, trainings, and business games. To receive feedback, a SWOT analysis was conducted on the state of implementation of event volunteerism in the public environment, by filling out a table. While consolidating the studied material, the students participated in a business game, during which they immersed themselves in the model of a real volunteer event and worked out the knowledge gained in practice. At the final stage, students independently assessed their achievements in applying the acquired knowledge in practice, and also determined the dynamics of changes in not only basic qualities, but also motivational and value attitudes.
The teaching staff of the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy attended the open lesson: Aksaule Mankesh, Galiya Taubayeva, Alma Aitpayeva, Dariga Azimbayeva, Razia Karimova, Nazira Atemkulova, Galiya Abylbakieva.
