City Methodological Seminar-Workshop “Deep Roots – Traditional Values”

On April 28, 2025, the Department of "Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy" of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, in collaboration with the 1st-year doctoral student of the "8D01201 - Preschool Education and Teaching" program, the head of the "ARAIkids" kindergarten of the "ARAI-KA" LLP, Sultash Kudaibergenova, the methodologist of "ARAIkids" kindergarten Erkenaz Kuandykkizi, and the educators Balnur Arapbaeva, Meirgul Nurbaeva, and the department team, held a city methodological seminar-workshop on the topic "Deep Roots - Traditional Values" within the framework of the "Unified Education" program.

The seminar-workshop was attended by the faculty of the department: the head of the department, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Kyyakbayeva Ulbosyn Kozybaevna, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Taubayeva Galiya Zakariyanovna, doctor of philosophy (phd), associate professor Alimbekova Anar Aimoldanovna, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Atemkulova Nazira Omarovna, doctor of philosophy (phd), associate professor Bulshekbayeva Asem Isaevna, master of pedagogical sciences, teacher Auezova Aizhan Abildaevna, and the methodologist of the "Rani" LLP kindergarten "Rani" in the Medeu district of Almaty, Begimbetova Bayan Kydykovna, together with educators Chengelbaeva Zhuldyz Zhumabekovna, Abzeytova Janar Temirkhanovna, Samyratova Gulmira Amantayevna, as well as professors from Fergana State University of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ashurova Oygul Anvarzhonovna, Saydova Nigora Olimovna, and 1st-year doctoral students of the "8D01201 - Preschool Education and Teaching" program.

The seminar participants contributed to the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical experience of S.K. Kudaibergenova, and at the end of the event, an exchange of opinions took place.

The goal of the seminar-workshop: Promoting national values among children, introducing them to the customs and traditions of the Kazakh people, developing their cognitive abilities, and forming a confident personality.

The tasks of the seminar-workshop: Revitalizing customs and traditions, fostering high national consciousness, and shaping proper behavior in children.

All the groups of the "ARAIkids" kindergarten, together with their educators, participated actively in the seminar-workshop and demonstrated their knowledge and skills at a high level. All participants were delighted with the talents and arts of the young children and wished them success in the future.
