City Seminar “Little Master in the Woodworking Workshop”: Creativity and Partnership On April 30, 2025, a meaningful and educational city seminar for preschool educators was held at KМКК "Nursery School No. 104" in the Zhetysu district of Almaty, titled "Little Master in the Woodworking Workshop." The seminar was organized at a high level.
The goal of the seminar was to promote family values, foster creativity and diligence in children, and create opportunities for professional exchange among educators.
During the seminar, methodologist Aigerim Baychapanova presented the project "Little Master in the Woodworking Workshop." She noted that the main objective of the project is to instill a love of labor in children through creative collaboration with parents. The project aims to develop children`s fine motor skills, imagination, and interest in national handicrafts. Particular attention is given to strengthening the bond between father and child and promoting family values.
According to the organizers, this initiative is expected to become a regular educational and developmental activity in the future.
The methodologist, demonstrating strong organizational skills and innovative vision, actively contributed to ensuring the high-quality execution of every stage of the event.
The seminar featured a variety of content-rich activities. A standout was the educational activity "The Master`s Hands Are United," conducted by the preparatory group "Báyşeshek" under the guidance of educator Altynai Alikhanovna. This workshop focused on developing children`s fine motor skills and enhancing the father`s role in child upbringing. The shared experience of making wooden crafts in the workshop fostered mutual understanding between children and their fathers. Such practice strengthens the connection between parents and preschool institutions, providing children with valuable life lessons.
A psychological training session was also held for educators, conducted by Aigerim Daulbayeva, the psychologist at Nursery School No. 104. Under the motto "When the heart is full of kindness, any wish will come true," practical exercises and a warm exchange of thoughts were carried out. The training aimed to provide emotional support to teachers, prevent professional burnout, and cultivate kindness and support within the team. Participants noted a boost in morale and shared heartfelt wishes with one another.
The seminar concluded with a concert program that delighted the audience. The children`s performance of the dance "Peace" earned enthusiastic applause, while the joint performance of the song "Kók Baıragym" ("My Blue Flag") by teachers and students served as a vivid example of love for the homeland and patriotism.
Among the distinguished guests were: PhD, Associate Professor Gulbanu Abitova and PhD, Senior Lecturer Saule Erkebaeva from the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University; Laila Raimova, methodologist of the City Resource Center for Preschool Education in Almaty; Members of the methodological association of the Zhetysu district; and preschool educators from across the city.
At the conclusion of the event, participants exchanged opinions and expressed their gratitude to the team of Nursery School No. 104 for their initiative. The institution`s cohesive and creative approach, thoughtful organization, and depth of content were especially noted. Each part of the seminar served as an effective practical platform aimed at child development.
Once again, Nursery School No. 104 demonstrated that it is not merely an educational and caregiving institution but a center for promoting family connections and national values. Events like this are sure to continue, becoming a hub for professional exchange and inspiration.
