The International Scientific and Practical Conference «Integration of skills in the process of speech development of preschoolers in a digital society: problems, solutions and prospects» was held

On June 13, 2025, the Higher School of Education of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Integration of skills in the process of speech development of preschoolers in a digital society: problems, solutions and prospects» within the framework of the project «Scientific and Practical foundations of speech development of preschoolers».

The purpose of the conference was to share scientific, pedagogical and practical experience and discuss current problems, solutions and prospects for integrating children`s speech development and skills in a digital society.

The main directions of the conference:
1. Actual psychological, pedagogical, linguistic aspects of speech development of preschoolers.
2. Integration of skills as a means of developing children`s speech in the context of digitalization of society.
3. Problems and prospects of professional training of future teachers in the development of children`s speech in the context of digitalization of society.

The conference was attended by Associate Professor of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Galiya Taubayeva, who made a presentation on the topic «The importance of integration in the development of the preschool child`s language».

The conference considered and discussed the importance of integrated learning in the speech development of preschool children, the formation of a child`s language competence in the framework of the tasks of modernizing preschool education, the problems of speech development of preschoolers and the possibilities of the language environment, the creation of conditions for the development of speech and literacy of children, etc.

At the end of the conference, the experience of working in the educational process for the development of children`s speech and the organization of the language environment of the «Karlygash Kindergarten» of the Medical Center of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the «ABADAN» Family Center and Kindergarten was presented.
