Open Lesson on the Subject “Pedagogy and Psychology of Early Childhood”

Topic: “Development of Play in Early Childhood”


On October 29, 2025, 2nd-year doctoral student of the specialty 8D01201 – Preschool Education and Training, Sulushash Kudaibergenova, conducted an open lesson on the subject “Pedagogy and Psychology of Early Childhood” on the topic “Development of Play in Early Childhood.”
Subject instructor: Ulbosyn Kozybaikyzy Qiyakbayeva, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor.
Objectives of the lecture on “Development of Play in Early Childhood”:
To reveal the psychological and pedagogical foundations of play activity in early childhood, to improve the professional competencies of future educators, and to introduce the principles of organizing an effective play environment.
The lesson was held with 1st-year students of the specialty 6B01204 – Preschool Education (IP).
The presentation prepared for the lecture was clear, systematic, and understandable. During the lesson, an interactive whiteboard was used, and various play-based technologies were applied. Sulushash Kudaibergenova successfully established close interaction with the audience. Students participated actively and with interest. They attempted to respond accurately and fully to the questions asked by the doctoral student, demonstrating their understanding and mastery of the new material. At the end of the lesson, students exchanged opinions and provided feedback.
The open lesson was attended by the faculty of the department — Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate Professor Kyyakbayeva U. K., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Atemkulova N.O., PhD, Associate Professor Abilbakieva G.T., Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher Auezova A., as well as doctoral student Omarbekova F. The participants noted the high level of the class and shared their impressions.
