Olympiad «The Great Silk Road»

At Al-Farabi KazNU, on 20 - 22 April, was held the VII Inter-University Olympiad of Students in the specialty «5В090200 - Tourism» for the Cup «Zhass Tur». The theme of the 2018 Olympics is the Great Silk Road.

The purpose of the Olympiad is expansion and deepening of knowledge on tourism and local geography, as well as to identify and encourage talented students.

Second-year students Alibek Suleimen, Armanbek Agybaev, Asel Erlankyzy and Dina Yusupova represented the team «Zhykankez» of Abai KazNPU.

The head of the group is senior lecturer Ardak Aldasheva.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the team of our university took the second place.
