Abai KazNPU held a methodological bridge on the issues of professional training of special educators

On the basis of KazNPU named after Abai, as part of the activities of the Educational and Methodological Association in the field of «Pedagogical Sciences», a methodological bridge was held on the topic: «Collaboration of pedagogical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan on professional training of special educators».

This event was aimed at improving the quality of staff training in the field of special and inclusive education, expanding cooperation between pedagogical universities, as well as exchanging scientific, methodological and practical experience.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the teaching staff of pedagogical universities, as well as experts and practitioners in the field of special and inclusive education.

The moderators of the event were: Akbota Autayeva, project manager in the field of «Special Pedagogy», and Zeynep Bekbaeva- Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Pedagogy of KazNPU named after Abai.

The following presentations were made as part of the program:
«On the activities of the Consortium of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan to support students with disabilities and special educational needs» - Galiya Abayeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, KazNPU named after Abai;

«Trends in the development of inclusive education» - Zulfiya Movkebayeva, Doctor of pedagogical sciences, Professor of the Department of Special Pedagogy, KazNPU named after Abai;

«On the issue of university collaboration, using the example of interaction between KazNWTTU and KazNPU named after Abai» - Gulzhan Orazayeva, candidate of pedagogical sciences, director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology;

«Development of inclusive competencies of future teachers in the aspect of collaboration» - Aigul Baitursynova, candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of the department of Special Pedagogy, KazNPU named after Abai;

«On the introduction of author`s courses when working with children with disabilities of the «Senim Qogamy» Public Foundation» - Yulia Smyshlyaeva, Director of the «Senim Qogamy» Public Foundation;

«Integration of resources of the regional special complex «Kindergarten-boarding school №1» of Taldykorgan and the department of Special Pedagogy of KazNPU named after Abai in the training of special teachers: experience and prospects» - Zhanar Kokumbayeva, teacher of defectology of the hearing room of the regional special complex «Kindergarten-boarding school № 1» Taldykorgan;

«Elements of dual education in the training of typhlopedagogues of Abai KazNPU» - teacher of Russian language and literature, teacher-researcher of Secondary School № 4 with children with visual impairments

«Elements of dual training in the training of typhlopedagogues of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University» - Raimzhanova Aizhan, teacher of Russian language and literature of a special school for children with visual impairments № 4, teacher-researcher.

Within the framework of the event, effective models of professional training of special educators, joint projects and scientific and methodological developments were presented. The participants exchanged views on the importance of collaboration between pedagogical universities, inclusive approaches in the educational process, as well as support mechanisms for children with special educational needs and elements of dual education.
