Online conference «Abai`s heritage - an eternal treasure»

On April 28, 2020, an online conference on the theme «Abai`s heritage - an eternal treasure», organized by the Department of Foreign Languages of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay, was held at the Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

The online conference was attended by the director of the Hakim Abai Research Center Shoyynbet Zhabal Alshynbekuly, the deputy director for academic affairs at the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Sametova Zhanagul Shyngyskhanovna, the deputy director for educational work Kasenov Erlan Slambekuly, the head of the department of foreign languages Tulegenova Malika Baltabayevna, teaching staff of the chair and first-year students on the specialty «6M011900-foreign language: two foreign languages».

During the conference, students not only expressively expressed extracts from poems and words of edification of the poet, but also analyzed deep terms that contain the artistic power of «Words of edification», wisdom in philosophy, society, religious relations, etc. At the end of the event, Shoyynbet Zhabal Alshynbekuly answered the questions of teachers and students of the department. The online conference was ended with a poem by the 104 group student Adil Zhansaya, «Dedication to Abai».
