On September 18, 2016 for the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 1000th anniversary of Almaty was held a festival «Alma Fest-2016". At the gala concert came students and teachers of the Faculty of Philology, Chair of General Linguistics. Students expressed their gratitude to the management of the university for the provision of transport.
