Anti-terrorist explanatory work

On October 26, 2021, the advisers of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Abai KazNPU Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education organized an anti-terrorist explanatory hour. The staff of the department, students of all specialties of the department took part in the event.

Objective: to provide students with a deeper understanding of terrorism, its types, causes and consequences. Prevention of involving youth in the activities of terrorist organizations, clarification of the social and legal nature of society.

Now the whole world is fighting against terrorism and the criminal actions of extremist groups. But various organizations and groups of this kind do not cease to threaten human life. Therefore, it is clear that the fight against terrorism is desirable throughout the world. Let`s talk about terrorism in general.

In some reference books, the term «terrorism» includes jihad and punishment in Shariah countries. Terrorism in Arabic means irhab, intimidation. The word terrorism in Latin means «fear». This raises questions about who is about to commit the terrorist act and for what purposes. Terrorist organizations deceive members of dysfunctional families, attracting them with promises to solve their everyday problems, help with careers and power. Alas, people suffering from mental disorders and having various addictions often believe in this. It is a mistake to think that terrorists are just religious people. Among the terrorists are young people and adults, girls and women, as well as those who believe in provocations that threaten the lives of innocent people.
