International Seminar: "Innovation and Digital Technologies in Chinese Language Learning"

On April 7, 2025, an international open seminar "New opportunities in the study of the Chinese language: methods, artificial intelligence and mobile applications" was held, organized by the philological faculty of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Department of Chinese Language and Chinese Studies.
The main task of the event is to discuss modern methods of teaching the Chinese language, the use of artificial intelligence and digital platforms, as well as the exchange of educational experience at the international level.

Keynotes:
1. Ph.D. Wang Shuyang (Jiangxi Pedagogical University of Science and Technology, China) - proposed innovative ways to overcome grammatical difficulties on the topic "Principles of teaching grammar of the international Chinese language."

2. Associate Professor Gulia Alikhanovna (Abai University) - in her report "Effective methods of teaching Chinese with the help of intelligence" analyzed the role of such tools in language learning as Kao Han.

3. Ablai Muhajan (4th year student) - presented his mobile application "KaoHan," demonstrating his vocabulary, grammar tests and AI assistant capabilities.
Participants and reviews

Representatives of many universities of "Kazakhstan and China" are invited to the seminar, including:
philologist ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov Abilkhan Isaev (noted the importance of mobile applications in education),
Jiangxi Science Technology Normal University KazNU Al-Farabi Specialists from Abylai Khan University and educational institutions took part.

Teachers and researchers confirmed the effectiveness of AI technologies in learning the language, emphasized the need to develop "interactive platforms" for students, and called for strengthening scientific cooperation for the development of the "Chinese" industry in the country at the international level.

The seminar contributed to the emergence of new projects aimed at introducing educational innovations.
