Decade of Sciences – 2025 at the Department of Russian Language and Literature

On 4 April 2025 at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philology of Abai KazNPU in the framework of the annual Decade of Sciences held meetings of four sections: "Methods of Teaching Russian Language and Literature", "Practical Course of Russian Language - 1", "Practical Course of Russian language - 2", "Literary Studies" and "Linguistics".

The teaching staff and doctoral students of the department took an active part in the work of the sections. In total, more than thirty scientific reports covering a wide range of topical problems in the field of philology, linguistics and teaching methods were heard.

The speakers presented modern scientific research devoted to the formation of communicative and argumentative competence of students, the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the educational process, cultural and sociolinguistic approaches in teaching, as well as the analysis of the artistic text and literary translation.
Special attention was paid to modern linguistic trends, issues of diasporology, ethnolinguistics and symbolism in Russian mentality. The topics of the reports were characterised by depth, content and interdisciplinary approach.

The sessions were held in a productive and friendly atmosphere, accompanied by active discussions and exchange of opinions.
