Photo Exhibition “The Exhibits of the Akhmet Baitursynuly House-Museum Speak”

From April 9 to 14, 2025, as part of Science Week 2025, the Akhmet Baitursynuly Center at the Faculty of Philology of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University hosted a photo exhibition titled "The Exhibits of the Akhmet Baitursynuly House-Museum Speak." The event was held with the participation of the head of the Akhmet Baitursynuly House-Museum and prominent scholar of his legacy, Raikhan Imaakhanbet. During her informative and engaging lecture, she spoke in detail about each exhibit, linking it to the life and work of Akhmet Baitursynuly, and emphasized the significance of the Alash heritage in strengthening the spiritual values of the Kazakh people.

The lecture was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Philology Alua Tanjarykova, Deputy Dean for Educational Work Bekbolat Baykaraev, Head of the Department of Kazakh Literature named after Academician S. Kirabayev Yedilbai Ospanov, Head of the Department of Kazakh Language Theory and Teaching Methods Nagima Ilyassova, Head of the Akhmet Baitursynuly Center Roza Bakbergenova, as well as students from the research and educational club "Soztanym." Students from Turkey, China, and Turkmenistan also took part, reciting works in Kazakh expressively and sharing their reflections on the great figures of the Turkic world.

Dina Mukhamedkhan, Director of the public foundation "Bilim zhane Madeniet named after Kairym Mukhamedkhanov," attended the event as a guest of honor. She told the students that Kairym Mukhamedkhanov devoted his life to the study of Abai, and introduced them to an article published in the Semey Tany newspaper (Issue No. 4, November 6, 1989), dedicated to Akhmet Baitursynuly, the Teacher of the Nation.

At the end of the lecture, Raikhan Imaakhanbet expressed her gratitude to the students who had recited the poetry and sayings of great figures such as Abai and Akhmet with feeling. For their thoughtful responses during the discussion, she presented her book "Gasyr Sanglagy" as a gift. Second-year student of the Kazakh Language and Literature program, Shakarim Abilgazyuly, performed Abai`s song "Segiz Ayak" on the dombra.

In recognition of the meaningful and historically rich exhibition, the Dean of the Faculty, on behalf of the Rector of Abai KazNPU, presented letters of appreciation to the Director of the Almaty Museum Union, Lyazzat Sagyndykova, the staff of the Akhmet Baitursynuly House-Museum, the museum`s head Raikhan Imaakhanbet for her insightful lecture, and museum staff member Zhansaya Sman for her organizational contributions.

The evening was moderated by Roza Bakbergenova, Head of the Akhmet Baitursynuly Center, who announced that the photo exhibition would continue at the center throughout the entire week.
