News from the Abai Center in Poland

On July 18, 2019, a meeting with the Director of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Katowice, Ms. Monika Zhivot, at the Abai Center for Kazakh Culture and Science at the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland) was held.

The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation, including those related to the organization of scientific and cultural events. Ms. Director liked the exhibition very much; she noted the high level of responsibility of the organizers.

The Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Katowice expressed a desire to support the organization of the International Scientific Seminar «Abai: Philosophy, Poetics, Reception», which will be held at the Center on October 16-17, 2019. The work of Abai will be discussed for the first time by the Polish-speaking scientific community.
