Teachers of cities of Kazakhstan get acquainted with new textbooks

 

Dina Sabirova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Russian Language and Literature and Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, and Dota Dorota Smetana-Bolvako, doctoral candidate at the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland), from October 30, 2019 to November 20, 2019 participated in the program «Roadmap for updating educational content. The development of textbooks and teaching materials on Russian literature for 11 classes».


As part of the program, they visited the cities of Taraz, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Uralsk, Atyrau and Aktau. The seminar was held with the participation of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center «Textbook», authors and experts of educational literature, school teachers and public figures. The purpose of the event is to clarify the features of textbooks with updated content, to familiarize themselves with the work done to improve the quality of textbooks. Following the discussion, the participants gave their suggestions on the provision of methodological assistance to school teachers.


The textbook «Russian Literature» for the 11th grade of schools with Russian as the language of instruction of the «Almatykitap» Baspasy publishing house, presented at the seminar, received positive feedback from teachers.


During the seminar, D. Sabirova presented the Opiq website of the «Almatykitap» Baspasy publishing house, which offers teachers and students high-quality educational literature. The educational material located in Opiq was created by specialists in their field - scientists, editors and teachers.
