Seminar «Methodological guidelines for the preparation and defence of master`s thesis»

In accordance with the calendar of activities carried out this year in the framework of the Decade of Science of Abai KazNPU, April 5, 2022 in the educational program «Social Sciences (Psychology)» scientific methodological seminar «Methodological guidelines for the preparation and defense of master`s thesis. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of Science, Monitoring and International Cooperation Duysenbayev A.K., the head of the educational program «Social Sciences (Psychology)» Nietbayeva G.B. and teachers of the Department of Professional Training Zhigitbekova B.D., Bekmuratova G.T. and master students of 1-2 courses.

The following issues were considered: stages of master dissertation performance; requirements for the structure of the master dissertation; requirements for the structure of the abstract; rules of master dissertation registration; submission of a master dissertation for protection; procedure of a master dissertation defense.

Various methods (brainstorming, coaching and interactive methods) were used during the seminar in order to increase theoretical and practical knowledge of Master students, clear presentation of their own opinion, development of reflexive abilities, comprehensive analysis of information, independent learning of new concepts and knowledge, analysis, evaluation and ability to argue their views, ideas and conclusions.
